High Availability IP Transit Bandwidth Fully Resilient and Diverse of London
CCS Leeds offer a 99.99% IP Transit Connectivity Service Availability (99.99% SLA) with money backed guarantees on Internet Connectivity fully resilient of London. We benefit from quadruple carrier fibre delivered directly to the premises via physically diverse ducts in the ground, provided by VirginMedia, BT Openreach, CityFibre and Vodafone. The four carriers provide dark fibre solutions directly into Telehouse East and North,, joining our 200Gb London ring to ensure latency is extremely low to core services in the UK. Within Telehouse, we blend a range of national, European and International carriers, including NTT, Sprint, Hurricane Electric and Cogent to name just a few via BGP routing within our own core network, providing a best path to destination, rather than a lowest cost route and fully resilient global transit bandwidth. CCS Leeds encompass private and public peering arrangements with all mainstream ISPs (BT, VirginMedia, Sky, Zen, Cerberus, JaNET, TalkTalk, Plusnet etc) and many larger commercial organisations such as Amazon, Microsoft, BBC, Last.FM, Virgin Radio, Websense and Messagelabs and benefit from approximately 350,000 of the Internets' total 560,000 routes on private/direct peering arrangements at a minimum of 10Gb/s but more typically 100Gb/s. CCS Leeds also utilise direct fibre services to cross-connect in Manchester removing the resilience on London as the UK hub of the Internet
Data Centre Power, Air-Conditioning and Facilities Summary
CCS Leeds datacentre features N+1 UPS systems at 99.6% efficiency, N+1 on-site Generators with three days of fuel storage and contracted refill services in the event of an extended utility power outage and an N+1 environmentally friendly eco-cooling system, allowing us to pass on the benefits of efficiency and saving to our customers. To ensure the security of your equipment we have a high security access system including manned reception desks, IP CCTV, swipe card access and locked racks and suites. Our premises and critical services are protected via gating and compounds and motorway standard impact protection barriers around the premises provide a further level of protection for critical equipment. Within the premises, our diverse fibres continue physically separate routes to the core communication suite, terminating on three dedicated Cisco routers, and onwards to a triplet of Cisco 6500 switching chassis facilitated with dual supervisors and power supplies throughout. Each full rack is provided with A+B power feeds as standard and segregated section racks (quarters/halves) are provisioned with dedicated supplies per section, ensuring a fault on someone else's equipment does not have a detrimental effect on your power provision.
